Love according to the Bible

💖 What Is Love in the Bible?

Biblical love is not just a feeling—it’s a sacrificial, intentional, and divine act rooted in God’s nature.

  • “God is love.”1 John 4:8. This means love is not just something God does; it’s who He is.

  • “For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son…”John 3:16. The ultimate expression of love is self-giving.

  1. Amen! yes love is God and his divine nature that he desires all to walk in. Awesome word for today! We all live in a world where like Jesus said in Matthew 24:12 the love of many will wax cold. So many people are lacking in the love of God and it is because the only way to love is to have the Lord in ones life!
