Mark 9:23 (NLT)

[23] β€œWhat do you mean, β€˜If I can’?” Jesus asked. β€œAnything is possible if a person believes.”

 

π—§π—›π—’π—¨π—šπ—›π—§πŸ’­

β€’ HΜ²iΜ²sΜ²tΜ²oΜ²rΜ²iΜ²cΜ²aΜ²lΜ² Μ²BΜ²aΜ²cΜ²kΜ²gΜ²rΜ²oΜ²uΜ²nΜ²dΜ²πŸ“œ: In this passage of the Gospel of Mark, Jesus is currently in the region of Galilee, nearby the Mountain of Transfiguration. As He gets closer to His disciples, he encounters a father whose son is demon-possessed. The father had previously asked the disciples to heal his son, but they were unable. That’s when Jesus, after confronting the father and declaring the people of this generation flat out “Unfaithful”, commands the evil spirit to come out the son once and for all, and after the boy collapsed on the ground a final time, he immediately stood up after Jesus touched him.Β 

 

β€’ C͟o͟n͟t͟e͟x͟t͟✍️: As previously stated, before this miracle, Jesus was fed up with the unfaithfulness of the father and explained that for whoever believes, nothing is impossible. In other words, nothing is too great for our Lord, with Him we can achieve miraculous things. If we are faithful, we can truly move mountains, even with small faith (Matthew 17:20).

 

β€’ Therefore, everyone needs to pay attention to the fact that NOTHING can surpass our Lord’s strength, power, wisdom and love. Whatever His will is, this shall happen. There is no limit for our limitless God, His boundaries are infinite.Β

Whenever you face something so difficult that surpasses your capabilities or even understaning, a problem you have never dealt with before and seems to strong for you, recite this powerful verse and have faith, that God is bigger than any hardship, and that with Him nothing is impossible. You don’t need to depend on yourself, but on Him. Be sure that God can change everything in an instant and His power is so unimaginably great that even the Devil himself fears.Β

Heavenly Father,

We come before You to pray that you may help us depend on Your unlimited power and divine sovereignty, that you strengthen us and remind us who You are, when we are facing difficulties and struggles. We pray that you show us that our problems may be big, but You are always and forever bigger than all of them.Β
