MEMBER CREATED ROOM FEATURES INCLUDE
Turn on Camera Icon – If a participant enters the room with “Listen Only – (NO AUDIO OR WEBCAM)” they can still turn their webcam on after they enter the room by simply clicking the + symbol on the webcam to enable their webcam. They can quit sharing their webcam at anytime by simply clicking the webcam icon.
Turn on Microphone Icon – If a participant enters the room with “Listen Only – (NO AUDIO OR WEBCAM)” they can still turn their microphone on after they enter the room by simply clicking the + symbol on the microphone to enable their microphone. They can mute their microphone at anytime by simply clicking the microphone icon and a slash \ will appear on their microphone indicating they are muted so no one can hear them until they click the microphone icon again to unmute their microphone so everyone in the room can hear them when speaking.
Share Screen Icon– Participants can use this feature to share their screen to share, this features is great if you want to share your screen to display websites, or an online Bible so others in the room can read along as a speaker is sharing on the microphone.
Raise Hand Icon – This feature useful if you have people in the room speaking over each other. All rooms allow participants to speak and hear each other in real-time as if they were all in a physical room so rooms can become chaotic because some people always want to speak and not allow others to speak so the “Raise Hand” lets everyone in the room that the person who raised their hand wants to say something and it is common courtesy to allow them to speak. Moderators should address people who do not allow others a chance to speak and tell them to pay attention to the raised hand.
Record Icon – Choose how to record the session…
- ‘Full Screen’ saves the entire meeting layout to the cloud. This feature appears, but only website Administrators have access to the cloud so do not use this feature unless you want to share your room session with site administrator.
- ‘Media Only’ saves just the audio, video, and screen shares to the cloud. This feature is like Full Screen the only difference the recording it is not full screen.
- ‘Record to Your Computer’ saves the recording directly to your device. Moderators may use this feature to record their room session and when recording is ended a WEBM audio and video files will automatically download to your phone, tablet, or computer downloads folder on your device and you can then share your recorded room session on your website or social media. (for best results, please use Google Chrome browser).
Start Live Broadcasting Stream – Moderators can broadcast your live room session to social media platforms like YouTube, Facebook, or Other social media platforms in real-time. You will need to use the “Stream Key” provided from the platform you are broadcasting to or your live broadcast will not stream. You can search the internet to learn how to obtain your Stream Key from the social media platform you want to broadcast to.
Enable polls – In room Polls can be used to create polls that room participants then respond to.
Mute Everyone – Moderators are the only persons who can use this feature so their will be no possible disruption from background noise from any participants in the room, use this feature especially when one speaking is delivering a message, or when you need to bring order to the room or if a moderator needs to take the microphone to address any in room behavioral issues from any participants.
Meeting Lock Settings – Moderators can lock room settings for microphones, or webcams, etc.
Kicking Participant – Moderators can kick anyone out of the room by clicking the the vertical dots located at the right side of any nickname then selecting Ban to kick a participant out of the room. If any member is creating discord or not adhearing to the Terms of Service of our community, please report their nickname and what they did in the room to administrator by clicking here and we will address the issue. Repete offenders will be banned from the community.
In Room Message Chat – The in-room message panel is disabled. If you would like your new room to have the message panel enabled, please make a one time donation of $25 and we will enable the in-room message panel so participants in the room can also text chat in real-time while they audio and video chat. Donating helps us cover our ongoing expenses in bringing the community this platform.
