How to Play
- Practice first. Tap the Practice tab. Guests can type a name; logged-in members play under their account name. Nothing in practice counts toward the Top 10.
- Aim. Drag your finger (or move your mouse) over the table to point the cue. The white line shows where the cue ball will go, and the yellow line shows where the ball it hits will head. Use the ◀ ▶ buttons for fine adjustments.
- Set your power. Slide the Power bar left for a soft shot and right for a hard one.
- Press SHOOT. When a ball drops in a pocket, you’ll hear the crowd cheer. If you don’t hear it, tap anywhere on the page once and make sure Sound is on.
Playing a Match (Logged-In Members)
- Press Join Match Queue. When two players are in line, the match starts automatically.
- Players take turns. The first ball you sink decides your group: solids (1–7) or stripes (9–15).
- Sink all seven of your balls, then sink the black 8-ball to win. Sinking the 8-ball too early loses the game.
- If you sink one of your own balls, you shoot again. If you miss, scratch (sink the white ball), or hit the wrong ball first, it’s a foul and your opponent gets ball in hand: they can place the white ball anywhere open before shooting.
- You have 90 seconds per turn. If you miss two turns in a row, you forfeit.
The Queue and Invites
- Others can join the queue while a match is on. You can practice while you wait, and watch the live match on the Live Match tab.
- When a match ends, the winner stays on the table and plays the next person in line. The loser can join the back of the queue to play again.
- Tap Copy Link to copy an invite link and send it by text or email. If your friend is logged in, they’ll be added to the queue as soon as they open it. If not, they can log in and be brought right back.
Top 10 Winners
The board shows the members with the most match wins. Only logged-in members are ranked. Guests and practice games are never counted.
Good to Know
- Don’t close the page during a match. If you leave or sit idle for about 45 seconds, you’ll be dropped from the queue or the match.
- On a phone, the table may turn sideways to fit the screen.
